You might be surprised by how few of them are on the road. The 300th build by the business is the recently disclosed Sotto commission, which is particularly striking.

Like all of Singer's other projects, this one began life as a 1990 Porsche 911 Targa before being modified to have a more retro appearance. Resistance Blue paint is applied to the carbon-fiber body, and "Porsche" logo is ghosted down the lower edges of the stripe. It's a dark blue detachable roof panel. Behind the Fuchs-style five-spoke wheels are the huge carbon-ceramic brakes.

This buyer chose to cover the lower section of the dashboard, door panels, and seats inside with bright orange leather. The tachometer matches, too. Nickel grommets and woven centres adorn the chairs.

The stunning 4.0-liter air-cooled flat-six engine from Singer, which produces 390 horsepower and can rev to 9,000 rpm, is visible when the engine cover is lifted. The mill's exhaust is titanium. Although Singer also provides a six-speed gearbox, the buyer made a wise decision by selecting the five-speed manual gearbox.

After launching in 2009, Singer attracted a devoted fan base. It currently runs a 115,000-square-foot building in Torrance, California, which houses interior design, painting, assembly, and fabrication all under one roof. The company performs a different show in the UK as well.

Singer offers builds in the Turbo series as well. Customers are going crazy over these builds, which imitate 1970s 911 Turbos. We've seen some with bodies derived from racing, convertibles, and more conventionally styled coupes.
