It was among the array of exclusive colors unveiled by Jeep, gaining significant traction. According to Bill Peffer, head of the Jeep brand in North America, approximately 30,000 customers eagerly ordered it upon its initial release.
The iconic pink hue makes its return as a sought-after option, now priced at $895, up from $395 in 2021. This vibrant color choice is available across a range of Wrangler models, including Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, and the V-8 Rubicon 392, which will be discontinued after 2024. As a final salute to the Rubicon 392, Jeep introduces the Rubicon 392 Final Edition, anticipated to be a coveted collectible, particularly if ordered in the distinctive Tuscadero shade.
Tuscadero will be offered with a choice of a black hardtop, body-color hardtop, or black soft top. Additionally, customers can opt for Jeep's Sky One-Touch power roof, expected to be available later in the second quarter of this year.
In addition to Tuscadero, Jeep presents eight other captivating color options for the 2024 Wrangler lineup, including Anvil, Earl, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, Hydro Blue, Bright White, and classic black.
For the 2024 model year, the Wrangler series receives several updates, including a revamped infotainment system, standard side airbags, and mechanical enhancements to elevate its off-road prowess. While the JL-generation Wrangler made its debut in 2018, its successor, the next-generation J70 Wrangler, is slated for a 2028 release, boasting plug-in hybrid and all-electric powertrain options.
