The 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition represents the ultimate version of the Rubicon 392 trim.
It comes equipped with a Warn winch that can handle up to 8,000 pounds, a Mopar grille guard, rock sliders, a half-inch suspension lift providing 11.6 inches of ground clearance and 34.5 inches of water-fording capability, as well as Final Edition hood and front fender decals.
Additionally, the Final Edition features the Xtreme 35 Tire Package, which includes 35-inch tires and bronze 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels.
The Rubicon 392 Final Edition features black nappa leather on its 12-way power front seats, accented with Mayan Gold stitching and Tupelo highlights. Additionally, it includes a unique shifter medallion, tailgate information plate, fold-out table, toolkit, and air compressor.
Unveiled in November 2020, the Wrangler Rubicon 392 is equipped with a 6.4-liter V-8 engine producing 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel-drive system boasting a 48:1 crawl ratio, the V-8 propels the Wrangler from 0-60 mph in an estimated 4.5 seconds and through the quarter-mile in 13.0 seconds.
Stellantis, the parent company of Jeep, is phasing out V-8 engines. The V-8 Dodge Charger and Challenger ceased production after the 2023 model year, making way for a new Charger featuring a turbo-6 engine and electric power. The Dodge Durango will also lose its V-8 engine as it transitions to a series of special editions, starting with the SRT 392 AlcHemi.
Jeep has announced that the production of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition will be limited to a total of 3,700 units. Out of these, 3,300 units will be allocated for the U.S., 300 units for Canada, and 100 units for other markets.
The starting price for this special edition model is set at $101,890. In terms of updates, the Wrangler lineup has received several enhancements for the 2024 model year. These include the introduction of a new infotainment system, the inclusion of standard side airbags, and some mechanical modifications aimed at improving its off-road capabilities., it is worth noting that the current JL Wrangler will continue to be available for a few more years.
A successor known as the J70 is scheduled to be launched in 2028. The J70 will come with plug-in hybrid and all-electric power options, further expanding the Wrangler's capabilities and eco-friendly features.
