The first championship won by the Lancia Rally 037, the vehicle that lends this piece of art its name.
It features the same 2.1-liter 4-cylinder engine as Kimera's normal (or should we say less specialised?) automobile, but 550hp of power has been added. Due to the compulsive usage of carbon fibre, weight has decreased, thus a final value of 1,100 kg translates to 500 horsepower per tonne.
The EVO37 is outfitted with an aero kit made of carbon fibre that includes a front splitter, side skirts, air extraction apertures, and more. The inside is also covered in blue perforated Alcantara with red stitching. But naturally.
Meanwhile, the spokes have been modified to decrease weight and enhance elegance, and the rims have been altered (while still making reference to the "Delta Evoluzione" era). Oh, and there's a quick-release rear end, just as on vintage Group B vehicles, so you can quickly display the gearbox and exhausts.
Miki Biaison, a two-time WRC champion, was there while the car was being developed to describe the driving experience of the original to Kimera creator Luca Betti.
If you want an EVO37, place your order quickly because there are only 37 of them being produced. The Rally 037 was the final rear-wheel drive vehicle to win the global rally championship, making it one of the most important vehicles in terms of driving enjoyment.
