With a focus on amplifying power and refining aesthetics, Manhart's latest offering aims to reignite the soul of the C 63, delivering an exhilarating driving experience that enthusiasts crave.
About a year ago, Mercedes-AMG launched the C 63 E Performance, marking a significant shift in its approach by incorporating hybrid technology. While boasting an impressive system output of 680 HP and 1,020 Nm of torque, the transition from a V8 to a turbocharged four-cylinder engine left enthusiasts yearning for the distinctive growl and performance synonymous with AMG. Recognizing this sentiment, Manhart Performance steps in with the CRE 700, injecting newfound vigor into the hybrid sedan.
The heart of the CRE 700 lies in its powertrain enhancements. Through the integration of an MHtronik additional control unit, the turbocharged four-cylinder engine receives a substantial boost, propelling the overall output to a staggering 725 HP and 1,120 Nm of torque. These upgrades not only elevate performance but also deliver a more exhilarating driving experience, reminiscent of AMG's heritage.
Moreover, Manhart's attention to detail extends to the exhaust system, where sport downpipes and 300-cell catalytic converters contribute to a more resonant exhaust note, amplifying the auditory thrill of the CRE 700. While these enhancements currently lack TÜV approval, Manhart remains responsive to market demands and is open to introducing TÜV-approved components in the future.
In terms of aesthetics, the CRE 700 receives subtle yet impactful modifications. Manhart lowering springs by H&R provide a sleeker stance, complemented by black-painted bodywork adorned with signature Manhart decals. Blacked-out chrome elements and red accents on the wheels add a touch of aggression and cohesion to the exterior, elevating the visual appeal of the CRE 700.
Inside, the CRE 700 retains the sporty ambiance of the base vehicle, featuring bucket seats and red accents reminiscent of the F1 Edition. Manhart refrains from further enhancements, acknowledging the already exceptional quality of the interior.
