While Porsche has released a special edition to mark the occasion, Techart takes it up a notch with this limited-edition, all-black, high-powered conversion.
Monochrome Design: Bold, Black, and Beautiful
True to its name, the Monochrome or the more dramatic "MONOCHROME," as Techart prefers embraces a sleek black aesthetic, inside and out. This 911 Turbo S boasts an aggressive, yet refined look. From its deep black paint to its matching 21/22-inch wheels and striking rear wing, the car demands attention. Even Techart’s newly designed bonnet crest is blacked out.
Inside, the story remains the same. The cabin, described as a Manufactory Interior, features reupholstered seats, a custom steering wheel, and an abundance of carbon fiber that exceeds what Porsche offers. Techart has also integrated traditional heritage fabrics, providing a luxurious touch to this powerhouse.
Performance: A Beast Beneath the Black
But the GTstreet R Monochrome isn’t just about aesthetics. Based on the GTstreet R, this limited edition pushes the 911 Turbo S to new extremes. Techart’s enhancements include upgraded turbos, a refined intake system, and a re-tuned ECU, pushing the power output to an incredible 810 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque. That’s an increase of 150hp and 110 lb-ft over the standard Turbo S, making this one of the most powerful 911s on the road.
Techart’s performance modifications aren’t just about raw power. The Monochrome retains the GTstreet R’s sophisticated aerodynamics, honed through extensive testing on the road, track, and in the wind tunnel. The carbon fiber body kit enhances downforce by 400% on the rear axle, while front-end lift is reduced by 45%, offering exceptional stability—even at speeds as low as 87 mph.
Rarity Meets Performance
Only 20 Monochromes will be produced, making this a true collector’s item. Techart produced 87 GTstreet R models for context, so the Monochrome edition will be a rare sight even among Techart enthusiasts. Pricing details haven’t been released, but considering GTstreet R conversions started at €100,000 when the Porsche 992 was new, expect the Monochrome to come with a significant price tag.
If you're lucky enough to secure one, the GTstreet R Monochrome promises not only jaw-dropping performance but also exclusivity on the road, whether you're carving up the track or cruising on the autobahn.
