Featuring flared arches, an extended front splitter, and forged carbon fibre components, this new kit transforms the EV into a true head-turner.
Whether you’re a die-hard fan or a sceptic of Dodge’s electric shift, there’s no denying that the new Charger Daytona is a landmark vehicle for the brand. And just like its legendary predecessors, it hasn’t taken long for the aftermarket world to sink its teeth into it. With customer deliveries underway, customisation specialists have wasted no time in pushing the boundaries.
One of the first to step up is Waido Kits, a U.S.-based tuning company renowned for its aggressive styling packages. The firm has just dropped a series of renders showcasing an extreme widebody conversion for the Charger Daytona. Given its track record, a similar kit for the upcoming gas-powered Charger could also be in the pipeline.
Waido Kits’ Widebody Legacy Continues
Waido Kits isn’t new to the game. The company has built a strong reputation for designing widebody kits for vehicles such as the Tesla Cybertruck, Ford Explorer, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and even previous-generation Dodge Charger and Challenger models. Now, it has turned its attention to the Daytona, and subtlety is not part of the plan.
This aggressive package starts with a deep front splitter that gives the Charger Daytona an even more menacing stance. The kit includes wider front quarter panels, side skirts, and flared rear arches that dramatically alter the car’s proportions. While Waido hasn’t revealed exact measurements, the added width is unmistakable, giving the Daytona an imposing road presence.
At the rear, modifications continue with a reworked diffuser and a fixed rear wing, enhancing both aerodynamics and visual appeal. Some of the components, including the diffuser, appear to be crafted from forged carbon fibre, adding a premium performance touch. Completing the look is a set of custom wheels featuring forged carbon aero discs, further reinforcing the futuristic aesthetic.
What About Pricing?
Waido Kits has yet to confirm pricing for this new widebody package. However, looking at the company’s previous offerings, we can estimate a wide price range. Their last-gen Charger kit started at $1,790, while a similar package for the Challenger was priced at $2,090. On the high end, Waido’s Cybertruck widebody upgrade reaches $9,990. Given this, the cost of the Charger Daytona kit remains a mystery, but it’s safe to say it won’t come cheap.
The Future of Custom Electric Muscle Cars
The electric Dodge Charger Daytona is already proving to be a game-changer, and with aftermarket brands like Waido Kits embracing its potential, the world of modified EVs is only getting more exciting. Whether you’re a purist or an EV enthusiast, one thing is clear: muscle car customisation is evolving, and the Charger Daytona is leading the charge.
