This kind of brand-new Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 could rule the sports car market

The Shelby Mustang GT500 was recently discontinued by Ford so that the company could concentrate on improving the brand-new seventh-generation S650 pony car. There has been a lot of discussion about what will be included in the most recent iteration of the Mustang's top-dog model, and a recent report suggests that the new GT500 could be available in 2025.

The automotive artist Hycade has been creating stunning digital renders for social media over the past two years. The renders by Hycade give the viewer a complete 360-degree view of his vision of these fantasy cars. The "2024 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500" that Hycade has shown us in their most recent video is absolutely stunning.

The body's angular shape, which is inspired by the S650 Mustang, is the part of this render that stands out the most. Hycade has chosen a distraction-free, all-black vehicle, so no racing stripes can be seen here.

The car looks futuristic because of its sharp angles, and from certain angles, it almost looks like a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. A brand-new body kit that is low to the ground is topped by a massive hood scoop.

This GT500 is significantly wider than its predecessor, as evidenced by its enormous fenders and the addition of side vents. An enormous wing spoiler, similar to the C7 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, can be found on the rear.

So far, it’s unclear what type of engine and power the next GT500 will have. But perhaps Shelby will aim to match the Hennessey Venom 1200 Mustang’s power which is over 1,200 hp. Since we know the 2024 Ford Mustang models have a bump in horsepower over the S550 generation, a new Shelby GT500 will likely follow suit.

The Shelby Mustang may be the most well-known muscle car. For many, the third-generation Shelby GT500 is the pinnacle of this high-performance Mustang variant, which has existed in various forms since the 1960s. The most recent GT500 was equipped with a supercharged Ford 5.2-liter V8 Predator engine that had 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque when it was new. It also had a number of upgrades that made it one of the most expensive muscle cars of the modern era.
