Paxpower has given Chevy's new Silverado the jackal treatment

With its original Jackal a few years ago, Houston, Texas-based PaxPower filled that vacuum.

The adaptation combined the availability of a V-8 engine with the addition of the tough suspension and wide wheel arches inspired by Baja pre-runners.

The business has already released a new Jackal model based on the redesigned Silverado model unveiled for 2022.
The similar GMC Sierra 1500 can likewise be converted to a Jackal.

Any Silverado grade, including the off-road-capable ZR2 and ZR2 Bison grades that were launched with the new Silverado, can have the conversion done for a cost of $24,950.

The conversion must only have been created for the crew-cab, short-bed body, and that's it.

Starting the modification process is PaxPower's wide-body design, which increases the truck's width by eight inches.

The replacement components may match the original colour, or PaxPower may repaint the entire truck in a different hue.

Then, new suspension components are applied. Among these are specialised control arms that lengthen the vehicle's track by six inches and raise the ride height by three inches. The King Racing 2.5-inch coil-over front and rear shocks, which have remote reservoirs and adjustable damping, are another asset for the Jackal. Deaver progressive rate leaf springs are also installed in the rear, which PaxPower claims will improve the ride and add more travel.

A high-flow Borla exhaust and 17-inch wheels fitted with 35- or 37-inch BFGoodrich off-road tyres complete the list of standard changes.

Pricing for the ZR2 versions is lower at $19,950 since PaxPower keeps the factory-installed Multimatic shocks and model-specific leaf springs.

Customers who want to increase their power are also catered to. The 6.2-liter V-8 in the Silverado is frequently chosen for Jackal conversions, and PaxPower offers a supercharger addition that increases output to 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. A separate cooling system, an ECU retune, and a high-flow intake are also included in the upgrade, which costs an extra $12,450.

PaxPower also provides a variety of extra accessories.

Custom hoods, bumpers, extra lighting, storage containers, and interior modifications are all well-liked accessories.
