This street rail was commissioned by the current owner in 2016 and completed by TransTurbine in 2018.
Turbine-Powered 2018 TransTurbine Street Rail
It features a tubular steel sand rail chassis powered by a Boeing T50-BO-8A gas turbine helicopter engine paired with a Volkswagen four-speed manual transaxle with a billet reinforced case. The chassis is powder-coated gray with black and orange accents and is fitted with twin Sparco racing seats. Additional features include four-wheel disc brakes, a fully independent suspension, rack-and-pinion steering, a Derale external oil cooler with an auxiliary cooling fan, a 24-volt electrical system, an adjustable pedal assembly, and a removable roof, rear wing, and side panels. This TransTurbine street rail is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner in California with an Arizona title listing it as a 2000 Special Construction ATV.
