Up for auction on Bring a Trailer, this 1992 Porsche 911 race car is a stunning example of motorsport engineering. Transformed from a 964 America Roadster into a track-ready beast, it boasts GT Racing 993 GT2 Evo-style bodywork, a powerful 3.8L flat-six engine, and advanced racing technology. With a storied history that includes competing in SCCA and Porsche Club of America events, this Porsche is ready to make waves on the track or join an enthusiast’s collection.

From Road-Going Elegance to Racing Excellence
Originally a 964 America Roadster, this Porsche was extensively modified in the 1990s with GT Racing’s 993 GT2 Evo-style fiberglass bodywork. Its motorsport pedigree includes appearances in SCCA, Porsche Motorsport North America Air-Cooled Cup, and PCA events.

In 2007, the car underwent a comprehensive rebuild by Hayden Burvill of WEVO in San Carlos, California, to prepare it for the PRC Championship, NASA events, and Rennsport Reunion IV. Wrapped in white vinyl with Champion GT1-inspired graphics, the exterior is equipped with a Jabroc 3-inch front splitter and a 996 Cup carbon-fiber rear wing, emphasizing aerodynamics and speed.
