The GT 63 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and can reach a top speed of 196 mph. Meanwhile, the GT 55 is slightly slower, taking 3.8 seconds to reach 60 mph and topping out at 183 mph.
A more potent plug-in hybrid version is in the works, but the exact release date is still unknown. This hybrid model is expected to be equipped with the same 805-hp powertrain found in the upcoming 2024 AMG SL 63 S E Performance.
The redesigned AMG GT differs from its previous version, as it now offers 2+2 seating and all-wheel drive, making it a more practical car overall.
Internally, purchasers will discover power-adjustable seats that can be heated or cooled, an AMG Performance steering wheel, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and an 11.9-inch infotainment screen with a tilt function to enhance visibility in the presence of glare.
These features come as standard, along with a head-up display, surround-view camera system, and Burmester audio system. Additionally, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a wireless mobile phone charger, are included as standard features.
